Design Description Tessellations are patterns that fold into each other. This ring was inspired by the world of M.C. Escher, one of my favorite artists. Mr. Escher was a remarkable artist who, among many other things, created designs that defied visual logic and morphed into all sorts of fantastical shapes and creatures. A gorgeous amethyst cabochon is the focus of the design, but the birds in flight are the real heroes.
