It’s not a Hakko and that’s fine since it’s about half the cost. It worked fine right out of the box. It comes with 3 different size nozzles, so use the most appropriate one for best results. No documentation was included with mine, but operating it is straight forward. It has a temperature control dial on the handle with a red LED to let you know it’s heating up. It seems to be always on while plugged in, no auto sleep. The temperature range is 350 – 450C. I have only used it a few times since I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but for the price – it’s worth it. I’m happy with it. BTW, the stand will stay up if you give it a bit of a ‘push’. It has 2 pins that lock into the two holes that are intended to keep it in place.
