I ordered the Equinox Z2 6×50 primary because I found that having to scan and spot for hours with a firearm mounted night vision scope leaves you with a sore next and back. So, with the mono, I can do the scanning and the transition to the rifle when needed. For the price, I think this unit is going to be a hard unit to beat in terms of features, clarity, and capability. Although not truly field tested yet, I can spot game at 300 with it. The user interface is intuitive enough where after you play with it a couple times, it becomes instinctive. The one recommendation I would have for Bushnell is to equip this unit with a means to mount to a picatinny rail so that it could be firearm mounted.
