The nerf bars I installed replaced some old nerf bars that went on this truck was it was new in 1998. They were rusted and looked bad. The new nerf bars look great but feel considerably lighter than the old ones I removed. I have to say that the installation instructions could easliy be improved and all be on the same page as they are now. On top of the they are advertised as “NO DRILL” installation which is flat not true. No way any human being can get the so called “self drilling” screws to get through the body metal to mount the top half of the angle supports. I did have to drill a pilot hole.
